UNICO presents gifts to Dunmore Healthcare Center

Dunmore’s Keystone Chapter UNICO National presented The Dunmore Healthcare Center with three CD/Radio entertainment boxes for the listening pleasure of the residents at their various programs.

Allied Services to host annual Breakfast with Santa

Allied Volunteers are offering their annual Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 10, beginning at 9 a.m. in the Graff Community Room at Allied Services.  The all-you-can-eat breakfast will include eggs, french toast, sausage, cereal, coffee, tea and juice while Christmas music plays throughout.

Santa will make his appearance and all will have the opportunity to sit with Santa and receive a gift.  Be sure to bring your camera. Admission is $7 for adults and $4 for children.  Reservations are a must and can be made by contacting P.J. Kilvitis at 570-348-1398.

Grace Bible Church hosts Living Christmas Village

nativity-photoThe Grace Bible Church, located on University Drive in Dunmore, hosted its eighth annual Living Christmas Village for the community to enjoy on Dec. 3 and 4.

This free event for families featured live-music from Dunmore High School Jazz Band and Choir, Penn State Worthington’s Jazz Band and Choir, and the Serenity Harpists, as well as some other local artists.

The walk-through village included an interactive journey through Biblical times, games and crafts for children, puppets, a Live Nativity, hot cocoa and cookies and much more.
