UNICO News: PA II UNICO national meeting & pig roast plans

The District PA II UNICO National Meeting was recently conducted at Atrio’s in Endwell, NY and hosted by the Greater Binghamton Chapter.  Conducting the meeting was Nanine Gramigna, PA II District Governor and Board Chairman of Keystone UNICO.  All PA II Chapters were represented.

Keystone UNICO  has finalized arrangements for its 13th annual Charity Pig Roast to be held on Saturday, April 5, from 5-9 pm at Fiorelli’s.  The theme is “The Sensational Sixties” and 60’s attire is welcome.  This year’s primary beneficiary is the Scranton Counseling Center and the event’s cochairs are Marie Merkel and Terese Pellegrino. 

Reservations are a must and can be purchased by calling Michele at 570-343-7009.  Tickets are $70.  Sponsorship opportunities are available by calling Mark at 570-335-7830.

UNICO members gather to celebrate the season

At the Keystone UNICO Christmas Party held recently at Fiorelli’s, Jean Muracco was inducted as a new member.

The Lackawanna River Corridor Association (LRCA) was singled out as an environmental leader in its ongoing work at restoring the Lackawanna River to its current pristine condition.

Representatives of the U.S. Marines were present to receive the plethora of donations the Keystone UNICO Members collected and donated to the Annual “Toys for Tots” Drive.
