UNICO coloring contest winners recognized

Dunmore’s Keystone Chapter UNICO National recently announced the winners from the 11th Annual Coloring Contest conducted for all students in the second-grade classes at the Dunmore Elementary Center and Saint Mary’s Parochial School.  The student with the winning entry from each of the second grades received their artwork entry professionally framed and a $25 Amazon gift card.

High School Choral Competition set for this month

Keystone Chapter of UNICO National is sponsoring its third High School Choral Competition open to schools throughout Lackawanna County to be held at Peoples Security Bank Theater at Lackawanna College on Sunday, Feb. 26th at 2 p.m. 

Doors open at 1:30 p.m.  Participating schools include Abington Heights, Mid-Valley, Riverside, and Scranton High Schools.  Admission is $10 for Adults; $5 for students and children 5 and under are free. The Catholic Choral Society of Scranton will also be performing under the direction of Ann Manganiello.

Baking up a big donation for St. Joe’s

Keystone Chapter UNICO National raised over $1,500 for Saint Joseph’s Center at their Sunday Bake Sale Tent during their summer festival.  A host of Keystone UNICO members and friends donated their homemade delicacies for sale at the return of this annual event.
