The Margie Memorial Award is an award dedicated in honor of Margie Holdonak Davis, who was murdered by her estranged husband, David Davis, on June 9, 1980.  The Award is given to individuals who contribute their time or ability to the betterment of our local Womens Resource Center.

The Margie Memorial Award was recently presented to Barry Sanmartin, who provides new locks for women who are victims of domestic violence.

UNICO Donates to Women’s Resource Center

Dunmore’s Keystone Chapter UNICO hosted this year’s Roaring Twenties Pig Roast on April 18 at  Fiorelli’s in Peckville. The organization donated $4,800 from the event  to the Women’s Resource Center in Lackawanna County.
