UNICO Postpones Annual Pig Roast

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the Keystone Chapter UNICO National has rescheduled its annual Pig Roast Fundraiser until Sunday, Sept. 27, at Fiorelli’s.  “Clothesline for Men” is this year’s major beneficiary and “Black & White 1940’s Big Band Era” is the theme.Entertainment will be provided by E.J. the D.J. from 5 to 9 p.m.  The evening will include a professional 5×7 photo taken by Rich Banick.

There will be a two-hour open bar with hors d’oeuvres during the first hour and an Italian buffet dinner during the second hour, along with a basket raffle,, Wilbur the Money Pig, and the Italian Money Umbrella.  The Grand Door Prize is “Dinner at Angelo’s” in Dunmore.  Tickets are $55 per persons. At the May dinner meeting of Dunmore’s Keystone Chapter UNICO, a $5,839.70 donations was presented to Dress for Success Lackawanna, representing monies from the organization’s seventh annual pig roast. The Dress for Success mission is to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and development tools.

Dunmore’s Keystone Chapter UNICO National presented $6,740 to The Arc of NEPA from the proceeds of their sixth Anniversary Pig Roast.
