Purple Club presents president’s award

Purple Club President Patrick O’Malley is presented with the President’s Award from Joseph DeAntona. The Purple Club was established in 1933 when the University of Scranton was called St. Thomas College. The organization helps students with their financial needs through scholarships.

Purple Club hosts holiday raffle

The Purple Club held its annual holiday raffle drawing during which Gerald Garvey won the $500 first prize; Michael Barrasse won the $200 second prize, and John Noone won the $100 third place prize. All monies raised go towards scholarships presented annually. The Purple Club has been serving the needs of local college students since 1933.
