Ladies Auxiliary donates money to Center for Independent Living-funded scholarship

Ladies Auxiliary of the Scranton Chapter of UNICO recently donated $2,000 to the pre-employment scholarship fund for people with High Functioning Autism run by the NEPA Center for Independent Living’s Transitional Skills Center.

The donation came from proceeds of the Bocce tournament held by the Auxiliary at the Victor Alfieri Society bocce court.

UNCO Bocce Tournament

Bocce Tournament Winners Announced

The 24th annual Lackawanna County Commissioners Bocce Tournament held at McDade Park on June 6, 2015. The popular day-long event attracted 100 players composing the 24 competing teams in men’s, women’s and mixed teams categories.
