Funds donated to help kids stay warm this winter

FNCB Bank, locally based since 1910, has announced a $1,000 grant to UNICO Scranton to help purchase new winter coats for children in need at Friends of the Poor in Scranton. The support of UNICO Scranton and the Friends of the Poor is part of FNCB’s larger Community Caring initiative. A true, local community bank, FNCB Bank is making a difference through volunteerism, donations, and outreach programs.

Ladies Auxiliary Members Gather for Fall Luncheon

The Ladies Auxiliary of UNICO Scranton Chapter recently held their annual fall luncheon at Fiorelli’s in Peckville with over 80 guests.

The drawing for the Mystery Purse Raffle took place. A check was presented to Sister Maryalice Jacquinot, IHM, President and CEO of Saint Joseph’s Center for $2,500, representing proceeds from the raffle, for Trinity Child Care Center.
