The Scranton Lions Club presented a check for $16,000 from the 83rd annual Lions Dream Game to Mary Lou Wascavich, Executive Director of the Lackawanna Blind Association. The money will be used to assist in funding client support services, prevention of blindness programs and the Visual Support Center.

Annual Dream Game Set for July 19th

The Lions Club 83rd Annual Dream Game is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 19th at the Valley View John F. Henzes/Veterans Memorial Stadium.

Six Dunmore Bucks have been selected to play on this year’s City Team: Kyle Lasher, Nicholas Lawler, Joe Galenas, Colin Holmes, Michael Dougherty and George Cole.

Bailey Simrell of Holy Cross will also play on this year’s City Team.

The Scranton Lions Club presented a check for $17,000 to Mary Lou Wascavich, executive director of the Lackawanna Blind Association. This money, which was raised during the 81st Annual Dream Game, will be used to fund Client Support Services, Prevention of Blindness Programs and the Visual Support Center.
