Lackawanna County Lights Up Annual Christmas Tree

Bill Foley, center, a 31-year employee of the Lackawanna County Buildings & Grounds Department, had the honor of flipping the switch to light-up the 2018 County Christmas tree on November 29th.

Joining him at the ceremony were Commissioner Patrick M. O’Malley and Commissioner Laureen A. Cummings.

Allied’s Annual Breakfast with Santa

The Allied Volunteers hosted their annual Breakfast With Santa in the Graff Community Room, Luger Building, at Allied Services.

Children and adults enjoyed a full breakfast with Christmas music. Each child received a coloring book with crayons, a goody bag and personal picture time with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Leadership Lackawanna Welcomes New Board Members

Leadership Lackawanna, the region’s premier community leadership and  professional development organization, recently installed several new board members. Incoming board members will serve a three-year term.
