The Intra Borough Boys Basketball Championship Game between Dunmore and Holy Cross High Schools was held on Tuesday, Jan. 11^th at Dunmore. The Dunmore Lions Club sponsors the game to help defray their College Scholarship Program which is now in its 41^st year of existence.

This year the Dunmore Boys defeated the Holy Cross Boys by a score of 35 to 24 and have improved their record to 7-4 by winning their last 3 games.

The Intra Borough Girls Basketball Championship Game between Dunmore and Holy Cross High Schools was held on Tuesday, Jan. 11^th at Holy Cross. The Dunmore Lions Club sponsors the game to help defray its College Scholarship Program which is now in its 41^st year of existence.

This year the Dunmore Girls defeated the Holy Cross Girls by a score of 66-22 to remain undefeated and remain the top-rated basketball club by the Scranton Times sport writers.
