Bunny Hunt planned at St. Anthony’s Playground

Easter Egg Hunt Committee Members of the Dunmore Lions Club, Dunmore Rotary, Dunmore Police Department and Dunmore Fire Department met recently to plan the upcoming Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 19,  at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Playground, Hill and Cooney Streets. The event is free to children ages 11 and younger.

$10,000 grant for Dunmore Lions Club

The Dunmore Lions Club was awarded a $10,000 grant on March 11 by the Lions of Pennsylvania Foundation by representative, Bill Metschulat, PDG and presented it Scott Thomas, Executive Director of the Nancy Kay Holmes branch of the Scranton Public Library benefiting the handicap ramp of the library renovation.

New members welcomed into Dunmore Lions Club

The Dunmore Lions Club recently installed two new members during the District Governor’s visit at its meeting at Carmella’s in Dunmore January 30th. District Governor Sandy Thubborn offered remarks. Installing official was Past District Governor Cathy Metschulat.
