Lions hold installation

Pictured at an installation ceremony are, from left: Sam Sebastianelli Sr., president of the Dunmore Lions Club; new Lion Stephanie Juarez-Ventura, and Lion sponsor James Aita.

The Dunmore Lions are extremely proud that Stephanie Juarez-Ventura has accepted membership in the organization. Stephanie is a recent graduate from Marywood University, where she earned a bachelor of fine arts degree, double majoring in graphic design and advertising and public relations. She will be pursuing a master’s degree in communication and leadership through Gonzaga University starting in the fall.

Ms. Juarez-Ventura currently works for the greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce as Communication Manager. Lion Stephanie volunteers with the NEPA Youth Shelter and the Endless Mountain Hot Air Balloons. She is currently training to run in the Steamtown Marathon in October.

The installation was recently held at the club headquarters in Dunmore. Over the years members have found that the Lions Club offers many opportunities for personal growth in the largest service organization in the world. An added benefit is the incomparable feeling you receive from volunteering.
