Walk To End Alzheimer’s

Members of the National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association (NSSLHA) – Marywood Chapter participated in the 2.5 mile Walk to End Alzheimer’s held last month.

Although the walk was a “virtual” event this year, team members walked on their own or in small groups at various locations in the area and in their hometowns.

The walk raised $61,345 through the efforts of 481 participants. The Marywood’s NSSLHA Chapter, composed of 21 members, raised $1,800 for the event. Money raised will provide funds for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research.

Members of Marywood’s Chapter of the National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association volunteered at the 2 mile Walk to End Alzheimer’s held at PNC Field recently.

The walk raised $106,330.16 through the efforts of 854 participants. Money raised will provide funds for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research.

Alzheimer's Walk - 1Marywood University’s Chapter of the National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association (NSSLHA) recently volunteered at the two-mile Walk to End Alzheimer’s that was held at PNC Field.

Through the efforts of more than 800 participants, the walk raised nearly $130,000. Money raised will provide funds for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research.
