Rosetti Estate set to host Halloween murder mystery

The Rossetti Foundation for the Arts and Culture (RFAC) will host a Halloween murder mystery at the Rossetti Estate, 1005 Vine Street, Scranton, on Saturday, October 12, from 6 – 9 p.m. The “Haunted Mansion Open House Murder” will be presented by members of Actors Circle, directed by Mark Fryer. Cast members include: Cathy Strauch, a native of Dunmore; Mark Fryer, Tony Ranieli, and Madeline Giardina of Dunmore.

Come dressed in costume, or Halloween masked, for this event, as you become part of the crime scene, and may be chosen to participate! Enjoy hors d’oeuvres and soft drinks as the event unfolds. Cash bar is also available. For adults only, please.

Grand Gala Celebration of Art and Music Set for Sept. 25th

The Rossetti Foundation for the Arts and Culture (RFAC) is hosting a Grand Gala Celebration of Art and Music at the Rossetti Estate, 1005 Vine St., Scranton, on Saturday, Sept. 25, from 6 to 9:30 p.m. featuring a festive reception with live music and performances by local talents.

Those performing are: Opera singers Anne Marie Dupre (soprano) and Becka Govinashvili; Charles Truit  (Spanish guitarist); Gogita Gogidze (Multilinguistic performer); Dawn Tyrell (Classic pianist); Katsuhiro Kita (clarinetist); Denise Knox (pianist); and singers Ben Knox and Avynne Storey.
