Dunmore High graduate named new PPMA board president

Pennsylvania Podiatric Medical Association (PPMA) has announced Jan Golden, DPM, of Scranton, as its new President of the Board of Directors for the current term (2024), Jan Golden, DPM. The association represents approximately 800 members who are podiatrists in the state of Pennsylvania, treating patients who need foot and ankle care.

Dr. Golden, a podiatrist practicing in the Scranton area, has been an active PPMA board member for many years. She is a 1997 graduate of Dunmore High School. Golden practices out of her business Metcho, DPM & Golden, DPM (partnered with Dr. Justine Metcho), with privileges at Geisinger Community Medical. She graduated from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine (TUSPM).

“Patients rely on podiatrists for quality care of the foot and ankle. Podiatrists in PA rely on the association to advocate for our profession and be a resource we can count on. It is an honor that my peers entrusted me with this responsibility to be President.,” says Dr. Golden.
