
The National Association of Counties (NACo) chose Lackawanna County’s ARTS Engage! Programs and Task Force to receive its 2019 Achievement Award in the category of Arts, Culture & Historic Perseveration. The local initiative was selected from a highly competitive pool of national entries.
The ARTS Engage! Program is a cross collaboration of a variety of organizations all dedicated to building a better community through the arts and also working to solve social issues. The award will be presented to the County at a conference this month.
