Ballet Theatre Presents: “Dracula”

The Ballet Theatre of Scranton Northeastern Pennsylvania’s premier ballet company, will present International Choreographer Arkadiy Orohovsky’s haunting love story, Dracula, on Saturday, April 29 at 7:30 pm at the Theater at North.

Under Artistic Director Joanne Arduino of Dunmore, Ballet Theatre’s Senior Company, together with Emmy award winning lighting designer Dennis Size, will tantalize your senses, move your heart and capture your soul as they relay the true and tragic tale based on the Bram Stoker novel.

Cast members include, in front from left: Jerica Tallo, Nick Lazor of Dunmore, Elizabeth Conway of Dunmore, and Kegan Lance. Gargoyles are Maegan Bednash and Bella Paoli.

Ballet Theatre’s senior company to present Coppelia

Dunmore resident Elizabeth Conway, a member of the Ballet Theatre of Scranton, will perform in Coppelia.

The Ballet Theatre of Scranton’s senior company will present the full length comic ballet Coppelia on Saturday, May 14 at 8 p.m. at The Theater at North in Scranton.

Restaged by Artistic Director Joanne Arduino, Coppelia is the story of a life-like doll, a toymaker, and a young betrothed couple and is full of trickery, magic and love. The ballet dates back to the late 19th century and the music of Leo Delibes is both rousing and charming. It is a ballet to be enjoyed by children and adults of all ages.
