YMCA Receives Support From Feel Good Charities

Feel Good Charities recently presented the Greater Scranton YMCA with a $2,200 contribution to support the Y’s Summer Learning Loss Prevention Program, Summer Scholars.

The Summer Learning Loss Prevention Program, a national initiative at the Y, supports cognitive, physical and social-emotional growth while focusing on helping children read at grade level.

UNICO Donates to Serving Seniors

Serving Seniors Check Presentation 7-12-17

Dunmore’s Keystone Chapter of UNICO National presented a $5831.78 donation to Serving Seniors, INC. Money was raised from Keystone’s 5th Anniversary/Pig Roast.  Proceeds from this event also went towards a scholarship to a senior from each of Dunmore’s two High School’s.

Fidelity Bank Presents Donation to Leadership Lackawanna

Fidelity Bank recently presented a $5,000 check to Leadership Lackawanna through the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program to support various programming.

Leadership Lackawanna is Northeastern Pennsylvania’s premier community leadership and professional development organization. Its three areas – Core, Executive and Tomorrow’s Leaders Today – enhance the skills and knowledge of emerging and advanced professionals, enabling them to better serve in their organization and communities.  Established in 1982, Leadership Lackawanna has graduated more than 2,000 community leaders.
