Cooper’s Soup Sale Benefits Family to Family Program

Cooper’s Seafood House conducted a soup sale to benefit the Family to Family Food Basket program of Friends of the Poor. One thousand quarts of crab bisque soup were sold. The Family to Family program conducts annual holiday food distributions at Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter.

Since March of this year, the program has also conducted over 20 COVID-19 emergency drive through food distributions throughout Lackawanna County.

The Dunmore Senior Center recently held a Volunteer Recognition Luncheon at Cooper’s Seafood House sponsored by the Dunmore Senior Center Site Council. Special recognition went out to Margaret Costa for all of her work on the flower and vegetable gardens and to Annie McDermott for outstanding service.

Recognition Luncheon at Cooper’s for Dunmore Senior Center

Dunmore Senior Center recently held a Volunteer Recognition Luncheon at Cooper’s Seafood House.  The lunch was sponsored by the Dunmore Senior Center Site Council. Volunteers were given certificates of appreciation, Riccardo’s gift cards, and flowers.

Special recognition went out to longtime volunteer Carol Angerson for her over 30 years of continuous service to the Center.
