Scranton Shakespeare Festival Takes on “How to Succeed”

How to Succeed 2 colThis past month, performers with the Scranton Shakespeare Festival presented the first show of it’s seventh season: “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.”

Directed by Bobby Temple, the musical was performed at The Marketplace at Steamtown Mall, continuing the festival’s exploration of location-specific theatre, a nod to last year’s “Damn Yankees” at PNC Field.

Actors Circle to Present “The Man Who Came to Dinner”


Actors Circle presents “The Man Who Came to Dinner” by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday June 7, 8, 9 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, June 10, at 2 p.m. directed by Bob Spalletta with Katie VonBergen is stage manager, at Providence Playhouse.
