Ballet Theatre of Scranton, in partnership with the NEPA Philharmonic and Lackawanna County Department of Arts and Culture, will present “Ballet by the Beach” on Saturday, May 8 at 5 p.m. at Covington Park. Rain date is May 9 at 5 pm.
Ballet Theatre of Scranton will present its 45th annual performance of The Nutcracker under the artistic direction of Joanne Arduino and featuring Celia Eagen of Dunmore (shown in photo) as Clara on Dec. 23-26. In partnership with Goodwill’s Theater at North and sponsored by the Charles DeNaples family, the production will be presented at the Circle Drive In on Nov. 20 and 21st at 5 and 8 pm. Admission is free and the first 300 cars will be admitted. Kick off the holiday season and enjoy the comfort of your own car as you and your family view visions of sugarplums on the big screen!
