Ballet Theatre of Scranton’s “The Nutcracker” Marks 46 Years

Ballet Theatre of Scranton will present it’s 46th annual performances of The Nutcracker at the Theater at North on new dates this year! 

Kick off the holiday season with this traditional gift to the community.

Free public performances will be held on Nov 26, 27,and 28 at 2 and 7:30 pm.

Free tickets are required in advance by visiting thetheateratnorth.com. Tickets will be available after Nov. 10.

Pictured left is Celia Eagen, a 2021 Dunmore High School graduate, a BTOS alumna, and currently a trainee at Philadelphia Ballet, who will perform as Clara.

Dunmore resident Amelia Ingargiola (shown right) will perform as the lead Spanish dancer in Act 2 of Ballet Theatre of Scranton’s upcoming production of The Nutcracker.

Additionally, the professionally filmed 2020 production of the ballet will be shown on local FOX affiliates from Dec. 23-26.
