Actors Circle to present “The Importance of Being Earnest”

Actors Circle opens its 41st season with Oscar Wilde’s comedy of manners, The Importance of Being Earnest, at Providence Playhouse, 1256 Providence Rd., Scranton. The show runs Sep 8, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16, 17 and 18. Times are 8 p.m. Thursday – Saturday, and 2 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $15 general, $12 seniors, and $10 students. Thursday, Sept. 8, tickets are discounted at $10 general and seniors, $8 students. For reservations, call 570-342-9707. Tony Thomas is director.

Cast members are Brian Reese, Ray Hopkins, Rachel Lucille Woodworth, Natasha Bogutski, Jessi Teevan, Lisa Chokola, Mark Fryer, Seth Golden, and Jeff Ginsberg. Cathy Rist Strauch is producer, and Justin O’Hearn is stage manager.
