DHS Singers to Take Part in UNICO’s High School Choral Competition

Dunmore High School under the direction of Frank Jones will be among six choral groups competing when Keystone Chapter of UNICO National sponsors its second annual High School Choral Competition on March 1 at Peoples Security Bank Theater at Lackawanna College with doors opening at 1:30 p.m. and the program beginning at 2 p.m.

Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for students six and older. Children 5 and younger are free. For tickets, contact Toni DiVizio at 570-344-2388 or any Keystone UNICO Member. Proceeds from this event will benefit local charities and scholarships.

Other high schools include Abington Heights directed by Dana Cerminaro; Mid-Valley, Linda Phillips Orseck, director; Scranton Choral Group and Scranton Chambers Singers, Lisa McConlogueand Ronelle A. Barrett, directors, and Valley View, directed by Gina Pascolini.
