Dunmore Organizations Dubbed Sage Award Nominees

The Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce recently announced the finalists for the 2019 SAGE Awards, the Scranton Awards for Growth and Excellence. The SAGE Awards honor outstanding local businesses for their talent, creativity and innovation. The winners will be announced on Friday, Nov. 22, at the Chamber Gala, held at the Hilton Scranton & Conference Center.

Among the Dunmore nominees are Borough of Dunmore for Schautz Stadium in the Pride and Progress: Exterior Renovations category; FNCB Bank in the Pride and Progress: New Construction category, and Penn State Scranton in the Pride and Progress: Interior Renovations category.

Space Time Mead & Cider Works, located on South Blakely Street in Dunmore, is in the running for New and Emerging Business of the Year. United Sports Academy is nominated for Business of the Year.

Nearly 100 applications were received for this year’s awards and nearly 40 community leaders and professionals volunteered to review applications and select finalists. The Chamber is proud to honor businesses that are making valuable contributions to the region and contributing to our overall quality of life.
