Cub Scouts from Dunmore Pack 66 competed for top honors in speed and design at the annual Pinewood Derby recently at Dunmore Presbyterian Church.
A total of 36 Cub Scouts designed and built their Pinewood Derby cars with help from their families who happily cheered them on during the exciting contest.
The fastest cars sped down the track at more than 180 miles per hour. Scouts from all six ranks competed in four heats racing against their fellow Pack friends.
Winners advance to the District Pinewood Derby to be held on April 14.
