The Double “R” Twirlettes performed in the Little League World Series Grand Slam Parade. This event is the start of the annual Little League Baseball World Series and features the 16 teams competing in the championship along with national, regional and local performance groups. The Twirlettes, under the direction of Kathleen Y. Mercatili, will begin its 69th season this fall.
