On Saturday, Oct. 29, the Dunmore Elementary Center and the Elementary Center Parent Teacher Association sponsored the 1st Annual Trunk and Treat.  The DEC parking lot was jam packed with 50 vehicles displaying trunk themes ranging from Minecraft, Ghostbusters, Charlie Brown’s Great Pumpkin Patch, A Sweet Treat Shoppe, and more.  

The event afforded the children of the Dunmore School District the opportunity to enjoy a night of safe and secure trick or treating.  The event came to a close around 7:30pm with our creative “trunkers” already thinking of themes for next year.  

The DEC PTA would like to thank all the participants who took the time to decorate a trunk and provide the abundance of treats our children took home.  We can’t wait to do it again next year.
