Holy Cross students honored by PA Junior Academy of Science


Holy Cross awards

Thirty-four students from Holy Cross High School participated in the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science Regional meeting in March. Twenty-five students received 1st Awards.

Matthew Marsh and Nina Mucciolo received 6-year Perseverance Awards; Christina Brannon received a 5-year Perseverance Award. Nina Mucciolo received the Advisory Board Award presented to an Outstanding Senior. Christina Brannon received a scholarship to the University of Scranton; Felicia Dzielak received a scholarship to Marywood University; and Matthew Marsh received a scholarship to King’s College. Matthew Cerep and Kella Pacifico received fellowships with Lacawac Sanctuary- Environmental Science Research Center.

Caroline Kranick, Aubrey McGovern, and Jacob Rasimovich received Excellence Awards in their respective research categories. Jeff Kim, Caroline Kranick, and Aubrey McGovern received Perfect Scores.
