“Swing for Sight” golf tournament planned for June 10th

The Lackawanna Blind Association is hosting the William J. Jordan, MD “Swing for Sight” Memorial Golf Tournament on Monday, June 10, at Glen Oak Country Club. This year’s tournament features a $10,000 hole-in-one prize, skill prizes, raffle prizes, and a blind putting contest where contestants will get a heightened awareness of the challenges faced by those who are blind or visually impaired. Proceeds from the tournament benefit the Lackawanna Blind Association.

The captain & crew event will begin with registration at 10 p.m., followed by lunch and a shotgun start at noon. Dinner and drinks are also included. Sponsors are Northeast Eye Institute, FNCB Bank, Shoprite (Mt. Pocono, Daleville, Birney Plaza), NET Credit Union, and Ayers Supply Inc.

Lackawanna Blind Association will host its 30th annual William J. Jordan, M.D., Memorial Swing for Sight Golf Tournament on June 20, at Glen Oak Country Club, Clarks Summit. Proceeds benefit the Association’s programs.
