Holy Name Society hosts annual communion breakfast

SS. Anthony and Rocco Parish Holy Name Society, Dunmore held its 66th Annual Communion Breakfast on Sunday, February 18, at La Buona Vita.

The day began with 8:30 a.m. Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church that was celebrated by the Reverend David P. Cappelloni, pastor. Music was provided by the parish choir under the direction of Joseph Moffitt.

Principal speaker for the breakfast was David Hawk. Lou DiMattio was presented with the society’s Pio M. Ferrario Christian Witness Award.

The breakfast is a yearly tradition of the Holy Name Society in the parish, drawing a large attendance.

Holy Name Society’s 65th annual communion breakfast

SS. Anthony and Rocco Parish Holy Name Society, Dunmore held its 65th Annual Communion Breakfast on Feb. 19th at La Buona Vita. The day began with morning  Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church celebrated by the Reverend David P. Cappelloni, pastor. Music was provided by the parish choir under the direction of Joseph Moffitt.

Diocese of Scranton Seminarian, Thomas Dzwonczyk, shown left, was Principal Speaker.

At the 65th Annual Communion Breakfast hosted by the Holy Name Society of SS. Anthony and Rocco Parish in Dunmore, Thomas “Chick” DePietro was presented with the society’s Pio M. Ferrario Christian Witness Award by Rev. David P. Cappelloni, pastor.
