Holiday gift-giving started early for one group of philanthropic women in Lackawanna County. Representatives from the Ladies Auxilliary of UNICO National, Scranton Chapter presented Allied Services with a donation of $1,200. The funds were raised through the UNICO National, Scranton Chapter’s Craft and Gift Fair hosted at the Dunmore Community Center in October.

The event featured raffles, a bake sale, and over 20 vendors selling jewelry, handmade gifts, gourmet foods and accessories. The donation was made as part of wider fundraising activities for WNEP’s Ryan’s Run, the annual charity campaign benefitting children and adults with disabilities at Allied Services. St Joseph’s Center also benefitted from the fundraising event.
