Penn State alumni to host 2024 Kick-Off Party on August 21st

The Scranton Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association announces its 2024 “Kick-Off” Pizza Party. The popular event will be held Wednesday, August 21st at Arcaro & Genell’s, Main Street, Old Forge. 

Doors open at 6 p.m.. Refreshments will include pizza, salad and soft drinks. There will be a $5 donation. Children under 12 are free. No reservations needed. All welcome. PSU Alumni Association makes donation to Allied Services

Representatives from the Greater Scranton Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association recently presented Allied Services with a $1,000 donation towards the health system’s endeavors for continued staff education and development. The Greater Scranton Chapter is the largest Penn State alumni organization in Northeast Pennsylvania, representing alumni and friends from all 24 Penn State University campuses who reside in Lackawanna and Wyoming counties.

PSU Alumni Association planning annual dinner

The Greater Scranton Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association has announced its 2023 Annual Dinner details.  The dinner, to be held June 8 at Fiorelli’s, Peckville,  will feature the new Penn State Men’s Basketball coach Mike Rhoades and the “Voice of Penn State” Steve Jones.  Former Penn State football star Matt McGloin will be toastmaster.
