DEC Pajama Day raises $3,200 to benefit CHOP

Thanks to the kindness and generosity of the Dunmore School District staff, students, and community members, Dunmore Elementary Center raised a grand total of $3,200 during its CHOP Pajama Day.

The money will be donated to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in honor of the Connor Pensack Foundation. Words cannot express how grateful we are to each and every one of you for supporting our mission! CHOP’s reach of top notch pediatric care stretches far and wide. Every dollar raised goes toward improving patient care and developing innovative treatments for kids.

Sophia Shrive, a second grade student at Dunmore Elementary Center,  pictured above with Mr. Quinn, Mrs. Pensack, & Mrs. Kokindo, is one of the many children who benefit from the outstanding care provided by Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Sophia is a patient of CHOP’s Cleft Lip and Palate Program and her family is a longtime donor of the hospital. A recent Pajama Day was held at the school to raise monies for CHOP.
