The Lackawanna County Commission for Women recently held a seminar on “Harassment in the Workplace” at the Scranton Cultural Center, featuring professionals from the legal, social services and human resources fields.

Commission for Women sponsors Gluten Seminar

The Lackawanna County Commission for Women recently sponsored a Health Seminar entitled “The Gluten Story” held at La Bona Vita in Dunmore.

The seminar addressed the prevalence of gluten intolerance in the general population and the dietary restrictions that are mandatory for managing this disorder. The seminar is playing on ECTV.

Congressman Cartwright to Speak at Women’s Commission Breakfast

United States Congressman Matthew Cartwright will be the keynote speaker at the annual Legislative Breakfast of the Lackawanna County Commission for Women. The event is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 6, from 8:30-11 a.m. at La Buona Vita in Dunmore.  

Dr. Kathleen P. Munley and Sara Christina Wolff will be honored at the event and special recognition will be given to The ARC and Donald W. Broderick, ARC’s executive director.
