Dunmore Middle School hosts Junior Achievement program

Dunmore Middle School is proud to have recently hosted Junior Achievement’s YES! (Your Economic Success) program. The program provided a hands-on experience that helped students discover different career paths. In doing so, several community volunteers came to the school to help students learn about how they can apply their skills in the workplace.

The school would like to thank Junior Achievement, our community volunteers, and our faculty for facilitating such a successful event.

Junior Achievement event at Dunmore Middle School

Dunmore Middle School hosted over 30 career representatives on December 15 as part of its partnership with Junior Achievement. Seventh and eighth grade students spent the morning engaged in various career activities, which were facilitated by JA community volunteers.

The program, which was a months-long collaboration between Junior Achievement and Dunmore Middle School, afforded students the opportunity to listen to various career representatives while engaging in several hands-on activities. Junior Achievement representatives and school counselor Mrs. Kimberly Ahern organized this event.
