Twirl-a-thon to benefit St. Joe’s set for next month

The Double “R” Twirlettes will hold their annual twirl-a-thon to benefit Saint Joseph’s Center on Saturday, April 15. Group members will perform from noon-2pm at the Viewmont Mall. The event is free and open to the public and donations for Saint Joseph’s Center will be accepted.

Double “R” Twirlettes take center ice at Mohegan Sun Arena

Double “R” Twirlettes perform with area schools

The Double “R” Twirlettes were well represented this football season as 10 group members twirled with five different high schools under the Friday Night Lights. The performers are all students of Kathleen Y. Mercatili, director of the Double “R” Twirlettes.
