Reuther, Conte honored by District 11 American Legion

Dunmore Bucks Nathan Reuther and Chris Conte were honored as the 2023 Hookey Reap Award winners – a recognition given to the top linemen in Lackawanna County. Lackawanna Football Conference coaches vote for the awards presented by the District 11 American Legion.

Jersey retirement for four celebrated Dunmore Bucks

***A ceremony was held recently in the Dunmore High School gymnasium to retire the jerseys of soccer star Tommy Clark and football players Danny Pigga, Chris Conte, and Nick Donvito.***

Reuther, Conte named Hookey Reap Award winners

Nathan Reuther and Chris Conte of the Dunmore High School football team have been named as 2023 Hookey Reap Award winners. One of the area’s most prestigious honors started in 1957 given to the best overall lineman, and then in 1972 awarded for both offense and defense.
