Twirlers to Showcase Popular Dance Styles in “Let’s Dance”

The Double “R” Twirlettes will present “Let’s Dance” on Friday, May 11 at 7 p.m. at Mid Valley Secondary Center.  The show will feature the Twirlettes as they perform popular dance styles while twirling.

High School Marching Units Feature Double “R” Twirlettes

The Double “R” Twirlettes were well represented this football season as 14 group members twirled with seven different high school band fronts at games, pep rallies, and other events throughout the fall.

The Twirlettes performed with Dunmore, Mid Valley, North Pocono, Abington Heights, Scranton, Old Forge, and Wyoming Valley West High Schools.  The girls are students of Kathleen Y. Mercatili who is director of the Double “R” Twirlettes.
