We are deeply saddened to inform you of the passing of William J. “Billy” Healey, our beloved Dunmorean deliveryman. Billy, 80, passed away on January 20, 2025, at Geisinger CMC in Scranton. He had recently celebrated his 80th birthday on January 2, 2025, and his 55th wedding anniversary with his wife, Pam, just weeks prior on November 29, 2024.
Billy was a proud member of our community and an outstanding American who will be remembered for his lifelong service as a first responder, a veteran, and a dedicated family man. His selfless dedication to his work and country, including his time as a member of the Ironworkers Union and a first responder on 9/11, will not be forgotten.
He was a devoted husband to Pam, father to his children, and grandfather to his beloved grandchildren. His love for his family and community was evident in everything he did. He enjoyed spending time with his family in Stone Harbor and Puerto Rico, as well as enjoying many Tuesday nights at Ragnacci’s, where he had his corner seat at the bar.
Billy will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and many friends. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched throughout his life.
