Dunmore students earn college credit from AP exams

Dunmore School District has announced that 73 students had a score of three or higher on the AP exams from May, 2024. Most colleges will grant credit in the academic areas of their exams to these students who have met the rigor of challenging course.

Dunmore High School’s Advanced Placement programs position its students to enter college with credits, serving them both financially and academically.

The District calls attention to the following AP teachers: Mr. Alan Roche, U.S. Government and Politics, with 18 AP students; Mrs. Dana Shields, U.S. History, 7 students; Mr. John Bennett, Chemistry, 7 students; Mr. Brian Olivieri, Biology, 7 students; Ms. Kaitlyn Bevans, Statistics, 6 students; Mrs. Michelle Summers, English Literature and Composition, 7 students; Mr. William O’Malley, Psychology, 6 students; Mrs. Patricia Mataloni, English Language and Composition, 7 students; Mr. Jeffrey Mills, Calculus, 4 students; Mr. Anthony Rennekamp, Physics, 2 students; Mrs. Linda Muracco, Environmental Science, 1 student, and Mrs. Tara Cooper, Spanish Language and Culture, 1 student.

These exams are financed from a grant from FNCB Bank.
