Sandlot tryouts
The 12th annual Sandlot Baseball and Softball Camps will start the weekend of January 27 and 28 and continue for six weeks.
Boys ages 5-12 can choose Saturdays from 10 to 11:30 a.m.; 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., or Sundays from 1:30 to 3 p.m.
Boys in grades 6-12 will meet on Sundays from noon to 1:30 p.m.
Girls ages 6-16 will meet on Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. or Sundays from 3 to 4:30 p.m., and will be grouped by age.

Wedding show
The Scranton Cultural Center NEPA American Bridal Show, the ultimate wedding planning event in the Scranton area, will be held on Sunday, January 28, at 12:30 p.m. at the Cultural Center, 420 N. Ancient Aliens event
The Scranton Cultural Center at the Masonic Temple will host Ancient Aliens LIVE: Project Earth, a live, in-person event that will explore questions as old as the planet itself. The 90-minute live experience will take place on May 1 and celebrates the long-running program Ancient Aliens on The HISTORY* Channel. Ancient Aliens LIVE: Project Earth is an experiential extension of Ancient Aliens that explores the theory that extraterrestrials have visited Earth for millions of vears.

Disco Biscuits event
Trancefusion pioneers The Disco Biscuits will return to Northeastern Pennsylvania when they play the F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts on Thursday, March 28,, at 8 p.m.. as part of the Why We Dance 2024 Tour. Ticket prices are $34.50, $39.50, $44.50, and $49.50 plus fees. VIP Experience tickets are $144.50 plus fees (available online only) and includes one general admission ticket, early entry to the venue and access to merch; pre-show soundcheck, group photo with band, limited edition show poster, and commemorative laminate and lanyard.

Frankie Valli concert
The Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons performance previously scheduled for October 14 at the F.M. Kirby Center has been rescheduled to Friday, April 19,, at 7:30 p.m. All previously purchased tickets will be honored on the rescheduled date.
