Cinderella’s Closet Of NEPA will make prom dreams come true one last time.
The organization will host a “Goodbye Sale” on Saturday, Oct. 7, from noon to 4 p.m., at an all-new location at St. Mary’s Center, 320 Mifflin Ave., Scranton. This is a one-day only event open to all ages.
Formal dresses, shoes, purses, wraps and jewelry in a variety of styles will be available for $10 or less – with dresses being sold as buy one, get one free.
More than 1,000 dresses are available in sizes from 0-24. All sales are final, and dressing rooms will not be available for try-ons.
The organization will be closing its doors after years of supporting young people across Northeastern Pennsylvania.
“In recent years, many organizations have emerged that can provide year-round access to their inventory – something our clients ask for everyday. Understanding our own limitations and the many other resources available, Cinderella’s Closet of NEPA is happy to pass the magic wand so residents across our region have access to the support they need,” said Colleen Joyce, President of the CC of NEPA Board of Directors.
While the organization’s annual dress sale will no longer be held, its scholarship administered through the Scranton Area Community Foundation will continue to support young people in our region. Applications for the scholarship are accepted through April 1 at: http://www.safdn.org
