The 9/11 Memorial Committee of Lackawanna County announces the annual commemoration of the terror attacks will be held on Monday, Sept. 11 at the Memorial site in McDade Park beginning at 8 a.m. This tribute includes the reading of names of Lackawanna County residents who died that day or because of it and the soldiers who gave the” last full measure of devotion” in the subsequent war on terror. The public is invited.
