Ann C. Mecca Reilly, 79, Dickson City formerly of Dunmore, died Monday at Regional Hospital of Scranton.

Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Peter and Lucille Sileo Mecca, she was a graduate of Dunmore High School and prior to retirement, she was employed at Jacobson Hat Company and Scranton Aluminum North America. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Dunmore as well as the Scranton Chapter of UNICO.  Ann loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving is her son, Richard J. Reilly and wife Mary, Dickson City; grandchildren Robert Reilly, serving with the United States Marine Corps and Therese Reilly, a student at Penn State; her twin sister, Marie Waerhouse and husband Bill, Throop, her sister, Dolores Machinski, Pickerington, OH; her brothers Joseph Mecca, Scranton, and John Mecca and wife Evelyn, Trinity, FL; as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins.She was also preceded in death by her brother, Louis Mecca.

The funeral will be Monday from the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home, Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore, with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Mary of Mount Carmel Church, Chestnut St., Dunmore.  Interment to follow in St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Moscow.
