In its motto, “Friendship, Unity, and Christian Charity,”  the women of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians of Lackawanna County gathered to celebrate mass for the Feast of Saint Brigid. The Feast day on Feb.1st, is one of the official Holy Days of the order. A very dynamic mass was held at Saint Patrick’s Church in Scranton, officiated by the Rev. Richard E. Fox. Dorothea Crowley is Lackawanna County Board President of the LAOH.
