The Intra Borough Girls Basketball Championship Game between Dunmore and Holy Cross High Schools was held on Jan. 16 at Dunmore High school. The Dunmore Lions Club sponsors the game to help defray its College Scholarship Program.

This year the Dunmore Girls defeated the Holy Cross Girls by a score of 47-33 to remain undefeated in Division III and remain the second-rated basketball club by the Scranton Times sport writers.
