Baseball Camps

Sandlot Scranton will present 6-week winter instructional camps for boys and girls ages 6-18 starting Jan. 28 and 29. 

Boys ages 6-11 can choose from Saturdays 10-11:30 a.m. or noon-1:30 p.m., or Sundays 2 to 3:30 p.m.

Camps for boys in grades 6-12  will be Sundays from noon-1:30 p.m. Camps for giirls ages 6-18 will be Saturdays noon-1:30 p.m. or Sundays from 4-5:30 p.m. Camps will be split by age.

Camps will include hitting, fielding, throwing, and speed/agility. Cost is $150 per player.

Beatles Tribute

Scranton Cultural Center at the Masonic Temple will present “Studio Two: The Early Beatles Tribute” on Jan. 20 at 8 p.m. in Shopland Hall. Studio Two is a headlining Beatles band that pays tribute to the early Beatles years, choosing songs from the pre-Sgt. Pepper era.   

Doors open at 7 p.m.  Food and drinks will be available for purchase.  Tickets are $33.25 in advance, and will increase to $43.25 on the day of the show.  All ticket prices include fees.  Tickets are available at the Fidelity Bank Box Office at the SCC in person or by calling (570) 344-1111, or via Ticketmaster.  For more information or to view a full schedule of events, visit SCCMT.org.
