Mondays during the summer will be very exciting with the Lackawanna Library Summer Youth Programming featuring projects from Lackawanna County 4-H.
Expressive Art 4-H activities will be featured this summer bi-weekly on Mondays, beginning June 15. Lessons will be demonstrated via video and available for area youth to join in at their convenience.
Creativity “means that your brain is designed in a way that helps you solve problems, think up new ideas and have insightful “eureka moments.” The Lackawanna 4-H-Lackwanna Library partnership will take a creative look into recipes, environmental issues, and textiles activities, setting the foundation for creative problem solving in other areas of youth development.
Administered in Pennsylvania by the Penn State Extension, 4-H is a community of more than 6 million young people across America learning leadership, citizenship and life skills. Penn State Extension 4-H youth development educators in all 67 counties throughout the commonwealth administer local 4-H programs through non-formal education and outreach.
