Dunmorean of the Month - Jackie RuddyOn any given day of the week you can find Jackie Ruddy in her office at the Century 21 Jack Ruddy Real Estate Company in Dunmore, where she has worked since 1993 when she received her real estate license and joined her father, Jack Ruddy.  

Jack was the founder and original owner of the business that opened in 1970. They became part of the Century 21 family in 1978.

Ethics, kindness and integrity were passed from one generation to the other in this Century 21 franchise and have been the cornerstone of the Jack Ruddy Real Estate Company that continues to grow and prosper almost 50 years later.  

Jackie is proud that in the past year 14 highly respected agents have joined Century 21 Jack Ruddy Real Estate.  Most are professional seasoned agents and all come with exceptional skills and reputations.

In the competitive world of real estate in NEPA, Jackie supports, respects and nurtures her staff of 29 dedicated agents, reaching her objective to help make everyone in her company  a “success.”

Jackie has been the broker/owner of Century 21 Jack Ruddy Real Estate, Dunmore since 2009. In a time when businesses come and go, Jackie contributes her continued stability and growth to the lesson she learned from her father years ago “to go beyond expectations in service and always treat everyone with the utmost respect.

 “We keep up with the latest trends in the local marketplace, provide the best service possible, maintain extensive knowledge of the real estate industry, and take pride in attention to detail and to understanding the client’s needs.” Jackie explains.

Jackie graduated from the University of Scranton’s School of Management, and has been President and Treasurer of the Greater Scranton Board of Realtors. She was awarded Realtor of the Year in 2005.  

She is married to Pat Devaney, a retired  FDNY firefighter and has a 13-year-old son, Patrick.
