UNICO Christopher Columbus Coloring Contest winners

downloadsDunmore’s Keystone UNICO recently announced the winners of their Christopher Columbus Second Grade Coloring Contest in Dunmore.

Local printer and Keystone UNICO Member, James Mack, is chairman of this annual event. Second grade students at the Dunmore Elementary Center and Saint Mary’s Parochial School were given a picture of Christopher Columbus to color on their own at school.

Each art work was then graded and a student from each of the six second grades was chosen as the winning artist.

Mr. Mack then framed each winning entry and attached a $25 gift card to the frame. The winners were then announced and presented with their prizes in the presence and with the applause of their second grade peers and teachers.
